I didn’t mind at all working on a busy Sunday. It was nice and warm outside as well as inside @ work in JC Penney. I have already metaphorically forecasted that my day would mostly be bright and sunny with just a few scattered clouds. It was long and tiring today after walking/running back and forth, up and down through the ladders and shelves to retrieve the exact shoes and size that my customers desired. But that didn’t bother me, ‘cuz my day was filled w/ tons of interaction, intimate or just plain conversations w/ my family, co-workers and friends. Though I wasn’t satisfied with my commission and sales for today, I think my entire highlight that justified my Sunday was just seeing the people who I interacted with smile. I know this sounds corny, sappy or maybe even ‘bullshit’ to you… but honestly, they made my day just talking, laughing, foolin’ around with ‘em. Even though it was busy, I still had time to make conversations out of the blue with the people around me. I usually find myself gazing across my Dept. flirting and talking with Tiffany and Maria, and the other girls that works in Women’s Accesories Dept. I even had time to spare with Anthony, my ‘bestest’ friend while eating @ Wendy’s. Insanely enough, we decided to walk home more than 25 blocks and just discussed mostly about ‘women, love and relationships.’ Hey, I almost died tonight also… cuz I was about to get hit by a car, but Anthony thrusted and pushed me away saving my life. We, actually Anthony, got so emotional after that. He kept asking me ‘You aight?’ and questioning my condition. Haha, shows how much he cares. All these interaction relieved all my exhaustion from a tiring day of work. I feel better when I make people laugh and smile. It brings out all the joy out of me and inverts my cloudy days with bright sunshine and happiness, which is why I today is my ‘Sunny Sunday’
