Funny incident at work just before I took my lunch. It was already 5 minutes pass 12 and I decided to spend my break at my desk. My boss would usually stop me and ask for favors when I step out the building. I’m guessin’ he noticed that I didn’t pass by his office, so he came up to my cubicle and hinted me about my lunch hour.

Boss: You goin’ out (to lunch)?
Me: Nah… I’m staying in… why you want something from outside?
Boss: Yeh, I want some Cheese Doodles and diet soda from Duanne Reade.
Me: I’m steppin’ out to the restroom, I can bring you back some fresh toilet papers.
(laughter from outside)
Boss: Oh, we got a smart@$$ over here!

Haha… it felt like one of those Dilbert comic strip moments you read in the papers. But unlike the cartoon, I ended up going to the store. I couldn’t leave my boss hangin’ since he’s been very lenient with me. Plus, I earned some major brownie points from the big guy!
