So May wanted to get her eyebrows waxed today so I drove her to the Lemon Tree, a nail spa & salon near her school. She’s been goin’ there to get her brows done ever since last year and I’d usually double park the car and wait for her outside cuz it only takes less than 5 minutes.

Bored and curious, I went inside with her to watch how they do the waxing process. One thing led to another, and next thing you know I’m lying down with sticky wax (those things are hot) pasted on my eyebrows. My sister said it will be quick and painless like pulling off a bandaid.

Evidently from the video, you can see my reaction as I held my breath while the lady (who seemed to enjoy my pain) continiously pulled off the strip… YYEEEOOOWWWCCHH!

Here’s a comic relief. If you’ve been keepin’ up with today’s popular OPMs (Original Pilipino Music), then you probably heard of the song Narda by the rock band Kamikazee. It’s the most overplayed song nationwide in the Philippines and I can attest to that because I too have "Narda-fever." I guess I caught it from the locals there ever since coming back from my unforgettable vacation just a month ago.
